Carry-On and Checked Baggage

Every airline has some strict rules and regulations regarding check-in baggage. However, it varies as per your chosen airline and ticket class.

• Airlines follow strict restrictions on the weight of baggage. Most of them allow 15-25kg baggage weight on an economy ticket.
• Some airlines permit a standard carry-on bag and personal items free of cost so check in with your airline for the full information.
• If you are carrying liquids, they should be in containers not larger than 100 mL. Make sure to pack them in a transparent and resealable bag.
• Get in touch with your airline for dimension-related queries too because many of them allow standard carry-on dimensions of around 55cm x 35cm x 25cm (22in x 14in x 9in).
• For oversized luggage above the weight and size limit then you may have to pay additional fees.
• An advance notice to present is necessary for oversized or special luggage like sports equipment or musical instruments.

Excess Baggage
